Yesterday afternoon in the city of Quanzhou, Fujian Province, a perfectly round ditch opened up in the middle of a busy intersection, swallowing whole an entire sedan.
Luckily the occupants of the vehicle escaped before their car was devoured by the sinkhole, leaving us with these terrifying photos.
