That's Shanghai takes a look at some of the week's best upcoming F&B events:

Dec 3-Jan 1: Oysters for Education

Flyer courtesy Oysterlicious Restaurant Group

Wouldn't it be great to eat oysters for a good cause? The Oysterlicious Restaurant Group has made this dream come true. Every year, over three million Chinese children drop out before reaching middle school, with the majority of them being girls. That's why The Plump Oyster, Osteria and C Pearl Pudong are donating RMB10 to Educating Girls of Rural China for every oyster you order – giving back never tasted so good. As of Dec 2, they had sold 3,625 oysters for a total donation of RMB36,260, and the more you slurp, the more they donate.

Dec 3-Jan 1. C Pearl, Osteria and The Plump Oyster, see event listing
