It's not often a tennis match ends in unruly conduct, but that was the result of a Wednesday match at the Shanghai Rolex Masters when Nick Kyrgios put on a less-than-stellar performance.
The hot-headed 21-year-old Aussie is known for his on court antics and battles with umpires and fans, but his latest showing looked like, well, he didn't give a shit.
Cited for 'lack of best efforts', he's been fined nearly USD17,000 for his poor performance, which went a little something like this:

Playing with his second-round opponent, Mischa Zverev, he eventually threw the 6-3 6-1 match while asking the umpire, "Can you call time so I can finish this match and go home?"
The ump served back with this response:
Kyrgios also got into an argument with a fan during the match and was eventually booed off the court.
When later asked during a press conference if he thought he owed the fans a better effort, he responded:
"What does that even mean? I'm good at hitting a tennis ball at the net. Big deal. I don't owe them anything. If you don't like it, I didn't ask you to come watch. Just leave."
