Shanghai Police Create Music Video for Fireworks Ban, and It's the Greatest

Thinking about lighting up for Chinese New Year?

This newly released mega-hit might have you singing a different tune.

Police from Jing'an District have created a music video aimed at bringing attention to the city's firework and firecracker ban. Based off Romanian band O-Zone'es 'Dragostea Diin Tei', this catchy melody touches on the importance of environmental and public safety during the festive season and even features celebrities: Gu Chao, the goalkeeper for the China men's national football team and Wang Zheng, commentator for the Great Sports Channel.

Check out the soon-to-be hit below, and remember, fireworks and firecrackers are banned within the Outer Ring Road.
