Mushrooms grow in odd places... but did you know that they can grow on buses? Recently, a passenger on a bus in Wuhan found huge mushrooms growing on the ceiling of the bus. After the passenger took photos and posted them on Weibo, they went viral.

It turns out this wasn't the only bus in Wuhan that was growing mushrooms. After the original image went viral, another user posted photos of fungi growing on another bus using the #Mushrooms on the bus# hashtag.

Some users joked that it's now not necessary to hike up mountains to pick mushrooms, while others were angry at authorities for failing to do their part in keeping public transportation clean.

According to reports, 14 people are under investigation in relation to the incident due to negligence.
