Roger Federer defeated Rafael Nadal 6-4, 6-3 at the Shanghai Rolex Masters, in a blockbuster showdown between the world's two best players on Sunday.
Following a grueling 71-minute men's singles match against world number one, the Swiss picked up his second Shanghai crown, his sixth title of 2017.
“It’s nice to share this court with you today and I hope there are more to come in the tournaments we’ve got left," Federer told the Spaniard, who won the China Open in Beijing last week. “It’s been a pleasure playing against you here today.”
