Guangzhou-bound flight forced back to gate after passenger refuses to stop talking on phone

A January 16 flight from Nantong, Jiangsu Province was forced to turn back from the runway after a drunk passenger, surnamed Zhang, refused to stop talking on his mobile phone.

The 8pm flight to Guangzhou was delayed around two hours by the time it it returned to the departure gate.

There, Zhang was taken away by public security officers at the airport and detained for five days. Zhang, 45, refused to admit fault, prompting police to describe his attitude as "vile."

"Vile" is probably putting it nicely, but Zhang's behavior is still fare from the worst we've seen the past few weeks. Let's just take a moment to recap:
