For all the doubters out there, true love has been proven once again to be alive and well.

A former drug dealer who is currently serving his seven-and-a-half year sentence in a Sichuan prison married his girlfriend with a little help from his friends (i.e. prison officers and fellow inmates).

The bride-to-be was unaware that Wang Zhi, who was divorced with a son, was dealing drugs while they were dating, up until he was arrested last year.

After Wang was imprisoned, his girlfriend would visit him every month, and insisted on marrying him despite her family’s understandable misgivings.
