"Look, Moon" Photo Exhibition will show you more than 100 moon pictures taken in Dongguan by dozens of photographers and photography enthusiasts from Dongguan over the past two years. There are shocking blockbusters of supermoons and landmark buildings in Dongguan, moonrise and moonfall pictures taken after squatting for several months, romantic pink moons, ghostly red moons, rare "super blue moons", as well as star orbit maps that resemble meteor showers and rare sun and moon glow.

Maria Hassabi: I’ll Be Your Mirror
The artist and choreographer Maria Hassabi’s first solo exhibition in Asia, "Maria Hassabi: I’ll Be Your Mirror," comprises elements of performance, sound, photography and painting. The exhibition brings her pathbreaking practice to Hong Kong, with all works newly commissioned for Tai Kwun’s architectural environment. The artist will be present for the first half of the exhibition period. A conversation with the artist will also take place in October.

German-born chefs Stanley Wong of CulinArt 1862 and Peter Find of Heimat are teaming up for a special six-course dinner menu that pays homage to their German heritage while offering a refined take on Oktoberfest cuisine. This unique dining experience will feature elevated German street-food classics like currywurst, spätzle with raclette and bacon jam, wild boar ragout with venison loin, apple red cabbage, and schupfnudeln, and Kaiserschmarrn for dessert, served with pear compote and vanilla ice cream. Instead of traditional wine pairings, guests can look forward to a curated selection of fine German beers.

FRITES Oktoberfest
Belgian beer hall FRITES is switching its allegiance to Germany for a third year of Oktoberfest merriment. There are two highly anticipated Oktoberfest events scheduled (one in Central, one in Causeway Bay), with both afternoon and evening sessions on for each. The cost depends on a minimum spend per table, and you’ll be able to indulge in Deutsch delicacies like Bavarian roast chicken, wurst with sauerkraut and pretzel towers, along with FRITES' regular à-la-carte faves.
