A China Eastern Airlines passenger used a first class ticket to score free meals and drinks at a VIP airport lounge almost every day for a year.

The unidentified passenger changed his flight itinerary more than 300 times over the course of the year so he could continue to enjoy first class facilities at Xi'an Airport in Shaanxi province. Adding insult to injury, he cancelled his ticket and got a refund before its validity expired.

Though staff at the airline eventually cottoned on to what the man was up to, a spokesperson admitted that there was now way to stop this "rare" act.
