Professional ice hockey is returning to China this September, as the National Hockey League (NHL) brings the Boston Bruins and Calgary Flames to Shenzhen and Beijing.

The teams will first take to the ice in Shenzhen on September 15 before heading north to Beijing on the 19th.

This year’s ‘China Games’ are the NHL’s second trip to the Middle Kingdom, after two successful matches between the Vancouver Canucks and LA Kings last year in Shanghai and Beijing.
