UPDATE (February 4, 2018 at 5.04pm CST): According to a police officer at the scene of the accident, authorities were alerted to the bus fire after a food deliveryman noticed smoke coming from the vehicle. The burning bus, which we presume is owned by Guangdong Hengyun Coach Company (based on text on the vehicle), left visible burns on foliage near the road up to 80 meters back from were it came to rest. The driver, who was the only person inside the bus at the time of the fire, is safe and being questioned by authorities.

UPDATE (February 4, 2018 at 4.47pm CST): According to a source at the scene, traffic is moving normally and police are present. The fire has been extinguished and our source has confirmed that the bus is “completely burnt out.” A tow truck has arrived and is preparing to move the torched bus, which is currently in the bike lane.
