If you're tired of going to work and feigning enthusiasm, having to put on make up or conceal your hangover, maybe you should think about joining a firm in Hebei where you can hide your sagging eye bags behind a Spirited Away mask once a month.

The Handan-based company claims its monthly ''faceless day" helps to ''ease stress'' by allowing office workers to abandon appearances and forgo facial expressions. It certainly does look relaxing. We would normally think of yoga, a massage or a good nap as better ways to unwind but wearing a strange anime mask is probably just as good.

Or perhaps – and hear us out here, rando company in Handan – you could give your employees better working conditions, more free time or a salary raise instead. Just a suggestion.
