Town Crier! Packing Party - Make Gift Bags For Disadvantaged Children

Town Crier! is random snippets of Shanghai news that just may have an effect on your life...

Community Roots China (CRC) is organizing its Christmas round of the 'One Heart Gift Bag' program which aims to distribute around 7,000 gift bags to children in mountainous areas in China. Each bag contains one jacket, one pair of shoes, toys, books and stationery for one child at a cost of around RMB200.
 
This weekend you can join CRC's Packing Party with dozens of other volunteers to pack around 1,000 of the bags for children from Guangxi, Hunan, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Yunnan, Hebei and Xin Jiang.

When?

Saturday, November 29th
Choose one of these shifts:
Shift 1: 8.30 am to 12.30 pm
Shift 2: 1.30 pm to 5.00 pm

Where?

Room 10B73, 10th Floor
Shanghai Mart, 2299 Ya An West Road, near Gubei Road (see map below)

-Shift Preference: Shift 1 or Shift 2

Please note that because the process requires attention to detail, only 150 participants who are conversant in English and above the age of 18 can be accommodated.
