UVA Wine Bar has a live music night showcasing jazz trio Three of a Kind. Comprised of French guitar player Etienne Jeanne, flutist Jenni Tsai from Taiwan and bassist Damien Banzigou from Mauritius, the group deals in all styles of gypsy jazz.

Jun 29: Almeeva
French multi-instrumentalist and producer Almeeva comes to Shanghai for a show at MAO Livehouse. Catch his rich and unpredictable blend of synths and guitar this Friday.

Jun 29: Shing02 & The Chee-Hoos
Modern Sky Lab hosts Japanese hip-hop producer Shing02 with his latest band Shing02 & The Chee-Hoos. Born in Tokyo and raised all over the world, including Tanzania, England and the US, Shing02 became involved in the West Coast hip-hop scene while living in Berkeley, California in the early 90s before going on to a long career in Japan.

Jun 29-30: Scream! The MJ Tribute Show
Shake's resident vocalist Courtney Knott and house band The Shanghai Sheiks have spent months preparing for this ultimate Michael Jackson tribute show. Expect a wild night of original arrangements, deep album cuts, and of course, renditions of all MJ's best dance moves.

Jul 1: Wild Children
Wild
Children is a Lanzhou folk band that's been active over two decades and
has a storied history. After losing their founder Suo Wenjun to cancer
in 2004, Wild Children have since returned from a hiatus and have
released their latest album. Catch the celebrated band at Bandai Namco.
