May 30: Locally Grown Turkey Dinner

You might be thinking that it's too early to be thinking turkey for the holiday season, but if you're interested in locally grown, free-range, cruelty free turkey this Thanksgiving or Christmas, now is the time to start doing it as turkeys take five to six months to grow. Farmonize helps people plant their own vegetables, and raise their chickens and turkeys for eggs or meat. Many people wonder how different a locally grown, never frozen heritage turkey tastes compared to one grown in a factory on the other side of the world, so Farmonize has decided to give those curious folks a chance to taste it for themselves. The turkey dinner master himself, Austin Hu (Diner, Madision Kitchen), will be roasting the birds and preparing a full complement of side dishes, so don't miss out on this prime opportunity to taste these turkeys.
