Shanghai will say au revoir to yet another favorite establishment as Le Cafe des Stagiaires on Dagu Lu closes its doors this weekend.
They're holding one last party on Saturday, January 27, with happy hour deals going all night long starting from 5pm. Details for the big closing bash here.
In a post on their WeChat account, CDS explained the decision to shutter their third venue:
Time flies... Especially here in Shanghai.
Almost five years ago, we had the great pleasure of successfully opening our third branch of Café des Stagiaires in the middle of the Dagu Lu.
Following the opening of our latest venue last summer, just a few meters away in Found 158 (Julu Lu), we are now reaching the end of our lease in Dagu Lu, so we thought it might be time to say goodbye.
But CDS fans, fear not. This is not goodbye for good, as the Found 158 and Wuding Lu locations will continue to operate as usual.
