Due to the fantastic response to the last plant-based Shanghai pop-up, Taiwanese chef Vivian Chang is back in town with her MissGreen concept, this time at Empire.
Executive chef of popular plant-based Thai restaurant The Green Room in Taipei, Chang's menu will see Thai dishes reinterpreted with an urban fine dining twist. Expect things like coconut tom-kah green bean soup and Taiwanese gua bao.
Chang has also collaborated with Empire's mixologists to create pairing cocktails, while DJ El Toro will be spinning the decks as people chow down, and on into the night.
The inspiration is to create international cuisine without harming animals. "You don’t have to be vegan to enjoy all the benefits of a plant based meal," says Chang. "Come with an open mind to enjoy the revolution in plant-based cuisine."
