Park and greenspace lovers, rejoice! Six new parks are planned for the Linkong area in Changning District.
The new parks totaling 420,000 square meters will open by the end of 2018. When completed, the six parks will create a corridor of greenspace along Suzhou Creek and West Waihuan River.
A skateboard park, flea market, golf course, and concert and music stage are also planned to be built in these parks. An indoor swimming pool and underground gymnasium are also slated to be constructed at Xupu Pier.
