1. Island 6: 10
A huge milestone for the Liu Dao collective as they celebrate their 10th birthday. To celebrate, their m50 space hosts this exhibition exploring a decade of collaboration, cheekiness and LED. Invite-only opening goes down on Friday from 6-10pm.

2. Earlier Mona Lisa
The Mona Lisa is arguably the world's most famous painting and its roots remains shrouded in mystery. In this popular traveling exhibtion, The Earlier Mona Lisa explores a painting of Lisa del Giocondo (aka. the Isleworth Mona Lisa) believed to be painted around 1503.

3. Zhao Yang: Zao
The Jilin-born artist takes over ShanghART’s two m50 spaces showcases over 30 of his latest paintings that mixes a magical surrealist style with a deep philosophical humanity.

4. Vik Muniz
The Brazilian-born artist returns to Shanghai with this solo exhibition highlighting his colorful works that incorporate unconventional objects from diamonds to garbage.

5. Tang Siu-Hang: The Red Pill
Magda Danysz Gallery pays tribute to the Shanghai painter and sculptor known for his wormhole paintings adorned across the city. An acclaimed street artist, Tang Siu Hung will show off a variety of works inspired by classcial calligraphy and his hometown.

6. In Between the Times: Zhou Yunxia’s Evolution since the 1980s
Shanghai Gallery of Art pays tribute to the acclaimed artist who has evolved alongside the country's art scene. As part of the sent-down youth generation, Zhou was a contemporary of the famed '85 New Wave but his artistic interests have always been either ahead or behind his time. This exhibition showcases his evolving interests from his expressionist works from the 1980s to his more modern explorations with uncoventional materials like toad skin.
