Worst hit were apparently flights leaving yesterday afternoon when visibility was poor. Hongqiao airport was hit the hardest at 4pm when it was covered in low cloud. They canceled 130 flights while 180 others were delayed.
The weather today looks no better with the weather unlikely to change for two more days, so expect more delays and cancelations today. The downpours are expected to weaken tomorrow with dry days hopefully on the cards for Friday and Saturday.
