Along the tranquil banks of the Liangma River, the minimalist curves of Tadao Ando’s Genesis Art Gallery became the stage for an evening where architecture, music, and philanthropy intertwined.

Bvlgari Hotel Beijing, in partnership with Tencent Music Entertainment Group’s Tencent Music for Nonprofits initiative, debuted the 2025 ‘Yuepu Music Garden Space’ Charity Concert, themed Symphony of Nature for Children.

The night opened with warm harmonies from the Yuepu Music Garden Space Children’s Choir, who traveled from Sichuan’s mountainous Beichuan County to share songs inspired by nature’s rhythms.

Their voices joined celebrated performers including Tia Ray, Liu Binhao, and Lu Yupeng, turning the gallery into a living soundscape.

This cultural moment will also reach global audiences via online broadcast later this year.

A Stage for Giving Back

Now in its seventh year, the Yuepu Music Garden Space—co-founded by Tencent Music for Nonprofits and the Chen Yidan Foundation—provides arts and music education to children in remote mountain regions.

Its name, meaning ‘joy through music’, reflects a mission that blends curriculum development, teacher training, and preservation of ethnic music traditions.

This new partnership ensures long-term support for the program, with Bvlgari Hotel Beijing contributing not just as a host, but as an active patron.

The hotel’s pastry team unveiled two limited-edition charity cakes, transforming Michelin-starred Chef Niko Romito’s culinary artistry into ongoing funding for music education.    f1fccc7ee57eb6b3ffc5f3e4ab02de0b.jpgExclusive charity cakes available at Bvlgari Dolci

Leaders in Luxury, Leaders in Purpose

The concert was attended by Ms. Maggie Zhu, Chief Client & Marketing Officer of Bvlgari Greater China; Mr. Anthony Smekens, General Manager of Bvlgari Hotel Beijing; and Mr. Chen Mo, Vice President of Tencent Music Entertainment Group.

Together, they underscored a shared vision: using creativity and cultural exchange to unlock opportunities for children in underserved communities.

As the Yuepu Music Garden Space prepares for its August summer camp, this collaboration between Bvlgari Hotel Beijing and Tencent Music for Nonprofits continues to shine a light on young futures—proving that when music meets compassion, the echoes travel far beyond the stage.
