PHOTOS: Beijing's Naked Run Has No Actual Naked People

Environmental activists and casual runners alike braved chilly conditions in Beijing this past weekend in hopes of raising public awareness for environmental protection by taking part in the annual ‘Naked Run’.

Hundreds of participants gathered in the Beijing’s Olympic Forest Park to tackle the 5 kilometer route, though many not quite as 'naked' as the race's name would suggest.

Instead, participants donned eye-catching outfits ranging from a variety of fetching skirts, to wedding dresses and angel wings all in the name of a good cause.

In the face of overwhelming smog and pollution, some of the worst Beijing has ever encountered (including several red alerts), this high-spirited crazy run has certainly turned a head or two.
