Nice-based director Gil Marsalla brings her adaptation of the award-winning film La Vie en Rose to Beijing. The show, starring Anne Carrere, tells the story of a young singer in Paris whose career struggles bring her from a relatively unknown performer to stardom. It also boasts never-before-seen photographs and images of the famous Parisian locations where Edith Piaf performed to give the show an organic and nostalgic atmosphere. La Vie en Rose debuted at Carnegie Hall in January 2017 and is now coming to Beijing to continue the celebration of her life as a performance artist.
