With members hailing from and getting their musical start in their home of Yulin, Guangxi province, the band formed only a couple short summers ago after moving to Beijing and thereafter took the indie rock scene by storm. After signing with Maybe Mars, last August the band began recording their debut album "Human Nature Architecture" and it was officially released a couple months ago in June. Over the past 20 days the band has criss-crossed China and hit 16 cities in touring in support of the new release. Extremely talented and sure to continue to push the limits of their jangly mathy post-punk vibe in the coming years, this is not an apex for Backspace but merely a starting point for continued creations throughout their music journey. Tonight join Backspace as they share their album with fans and friends for the Beijing stop and final show of their album release tour.
Opening the evening are neo-psychedelic shoegaze outfit Last Goodbye and the alcohol infused noise of The Claptraps.
