Tomorrow's the last day to explore this duo exhibition from Chen Xuanrong and Huang Yulong, exploring urban individuality in China and street culture. With heavy hip hop influences, these two artists curated a conversation about their own respective identities through paintings and impressive, seemingly gravity defying sculptures.

Fosun Foundation Shanghai presents a well-acclaimed collection of the remarkable senior figure of photography in the United States. Bringing together 128 series of photographs and several shooting props along with references spanning different periods, this retrospective survey traces Cindy Sherman’s career from the 1970s to the present day, attempting to explore dominant themes in her work throughout four decades. In conjunction with the exhibition, Sherman has nine world’s first brand new works to unveil to the public. She also custom-designed two pieces of wallpapers for Fosun Foundation Shanghai.

GUCCI x Maurizio Cattelan: The Artist is Present

Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan has partnered with Gucci’s Creative Director, Alessandro Michele, to bring a surreal collection of curated works to the Yuz Musem. Exploring how originality can be acheived through acts of repetition, the exhibition inspired by Marina Abromovic's 2010 live performance (as featured in the Jay Z music video for 'Picasso Baby' which, fun fact, revolves around a relatively interesting controversy that you should definitely look up) is runnning through to December.
Until Dec 16, RMB60, Yuz Museum.

While you're at the Yuz, you've got one more week to check out Tshcabalala Self's solo exhibition at their Project Space of Art, highlighting the Bodegas of New York City through paintings, sculptures and video. The family run corner stores featured in Self's show capture an aspect of the Black-American and Latinx community that has yet to be shown in a Chinese instution.
Until Dec 9, Yuz Museum.
Takashi Murakami in Wonderland

While the Murakami exhibition at Lu One mall may have been fake, Perrotin's put on the real deal. You have to make a reservation on the gallery's website to come see the artist's first solo show in Chinese mainland, but with a few new large scale works on view, the free show is worth a little extra planning.
Until Jan 5, Perrotin Gallery.
