Jun 21: Fête De La Musique Party
Bar
Rouge, MVP Events and John Jam Session team up to celebrate La Fête de
la Musique. Expect live covers of popular French and international songs
from John Jam Session, plus a DJ set from John Avolio. Entry is free
with password MVP until 12.30am, while ladies get a free cocktail on
arrival before 11.30pm.

Jun 21: Maalib
Le
Baron hosts DJ and avid record collector Maalib for an all-vinyl set
this Thursday. Born and raised in Seoul, he began his career in 2013
after joining up with local label 360 Sounds and has since launched his
recurring party Strictly Vinyl, which explores all-vinyl DJ sets in a
variety of genres.

Jun 22: Ansome
Local
DJ Misloop revives her inclusive techno night STIR with a live
performance from UK producer Ansome. Known for his blistering,
uncompromising techno, he's been praised as 'a modern master of a
hard-edged, industrial-leaning sound.' Catch him at Elevator with
Misloop spinning in support.

Jun 22: Ozone's 80's Disco Party
DJ Ozone hosts a night of only original vinyl records from the 80s. Tunes ranging from synth-pop, Italo disco, post-punk, old school hip hop and electro will all be well represented. Ozone's approach on things is to let songs play out, like at a house. So you won't hear elaborate mixes but just great songs played raw and fresh as ever.

Jun 23: Alter. - This Is Not A Pool Party
Despite
the name, Alter.'s latest shindig is indeed a pool party, held at a
rooftop pool in the city center that is being kept under wraps. Expect
chilled-out beats by PCJ, Blissed Out, Clef G and Alter. co-found You
Yang, plus inflatable pool toys and drinks aplenty. They are also
collaborating with Shanghai-based community fitness organization the
Sweaty Crew who are bringing aqua fitness to the pool before party
starts. Workout spots are first come, first serve.

Jun 23: Fiesta de San Juan Summer Party
San Juan is a festival celebrated on June 23 in honor of the summer solstice. It's usually held on the beach with roaring bonfires, drinks, food and friends. While Tomatito might not have a beach at their disposal they surely do have the drinks to set the mood. Get your pintxos and tapas fix at Tomatito this Saturday.

Jun 23: Factory Settings & James Lealand
There's a tech house extravaganza at Celia this Saturday, as DJs Factory Settings and James Lealand bring you the hardest tracks from their 20 year turntable history. Just the right way to spend your Saturday night.

Jun 23: Jackal at Arkham
23 year old Mikey Pennington, best known by his artist name Jackal, is a music producer and DJ with his roots in England, his beats often finding their way into the sets of artists from Skrillex to Diplo. He's ready to keep you awake all Saturday night at Arkham.

Jun 23: Medusa Pride
Shanghai's fiercest pansexual dance party keeps the Pride celebrations going with their latest event. Expect plenty of queer dance anthems and a celebration of individuality from DJs Michael Cignarale and Mau Mau with visuals from VJNY. Anyone dressed in drag gets in without paying the cover.

Jun 24: Hot Pot with Dj Wordy
DJ Wordy, the three time China DMC Champion, was one of the first Chinese producers to find international fame, definy Western stereotypes of Chinese youth culture as he brought his music global. His eclectic taste in music comes across in his live sets, showcasing hip-hop, bass, house, and funk all brought together by his turntable techniques. Catch his Hotpot party at Le Baron.
