Werkout is a group of Shanghai DJs, producers and artists. Their 'ON' night at Dada features a set from Lina K of Techno Train and Celia, plus sets from Man Alive and Kepler and visuals from ;C. Expect house, techno, breakbeat and acid.

Aug 3: R3hab

R3hab is a Dutch EDM producer known for hits like 'Pump the Party' and 'Prutata,' a collaboration with Afrojack. He has a weekly radio show on Sirius XM called I NEED R3HAB and released his first studio album, Trouble, this past September. Catch his show at Taxx.

Aug 3: Asian Vibes China Debut Series: Ryuji Takeuchi

For their show at ALL as part of a new series bringing underground acts from around Asia for their debut Shanghai performance, Asian Vibes hosts Japan's industrial techno pioneer Ryuji Takeuchi. His sound is known for its mix of EBM, industrial, grunge, noise, distortion and metal.

Aug 3: Kino Beats

Jamaican-American producer Kino Beats is the official tour DJ for OG Maco and Lex Luger, and has produced tracks for the likes of A$AP Rocky, Pharrell, Juelz Santana, and Wiz Khalifa. Catch his high energy set and vocal adlibs at Le Baron.

Aug 3: Taps N Tracks with DJ Baron Van West

Newly open Stone Brewery kicks off their weekly Taps N Tracks night with Shanghai-based DJ Baron van West. Originally from San Francisco, he spent several years in Seoul before moving Shanghai and founding the all-vinyl 60s soul party Shanghai Soul Club with DJ Sacco.

Sandbox returns to Dada for a night of UK bass music. Lose Your Face DJs Jode and Beardslap will take you through UK house, breaks, drum 'n bass and more all night.

Aug 4: HongKong Express Hiphop Night Market

Hilo hosts the Shanghai stop of HongKong Express Asia tour, featuring Hong Kong rap group Xabitat, Que Mussolini and Malaysian DJ and producer E.T. The Human plus support from local talent like Kin,J, ESA and So Far South.

Aug 4: DJ Lead

Originally from Japan, DJ Lead is part of NYC hip-hop crew Heavy Hitter and has a weekly radio program called International Hour on NYC's main hip-hop radio station, HOT 97. He's also released plenty of mix tapes, like his Def Jam 30th Anniversary Mix. Catch his show at Le Baron.

Aug 4-5: MVP Rooftop Pool Party

MVP continues their weekend pool parties at Pudong Shangri-la in August. Head there for a dip in their terrace pool, cocktails, music and fun in the sun. Arrive before 1pm with the password 'MVP' to get in for RMB100 with a free welcome drink. Otherwise, the cover is RMB150.
