June 1: Zhang Le
After her performance with Shanghai Restoration Project last week, celebrated jazz vocalist and composer Zhang Le brings her soulful, haunting voice to Heyday for a special show with the Heyday Trio.

June 3: Masaaki Kishibe
Osaka-born acoustic guitarist Masaaki Kishibe comes to Shanghai for a show at Mao Livehouse. He studied at Berklee School of Music in Boston and has released several acclaimed fingerstyle guitar versions of famous songs.

June 3: JZ Big Band
This JZ Club staple plays everything from classic jazz to swing, funk,
world music and original compositions. This special Saturday night show
features saxophonist Shihai Li as the early show and a set of New York
swing after the Big Band headlines.

June 3: Chaos Night
Inferno's latest metal night brings together four bands from Shanghai and elsewhere. Melodic-core band Pray for Awakening joins heavy metal band On the Verge of Extinction, Hangzhou nu-thrash band October Capricorn, and power metal band Into the Depth.

June 4: Sunday Music Night
Close out your weekend with a low-key, jazzy evening at Shake, which is holding a live music night every Sunday throughout the summer. Acclaimed Florida-born vocalist Tarra Connor Jones will sing classics like "A Sunday Kind of Love" and "Fever."
