Jul 25: Back to the Lab
Young Swiss up-and-comers Back to the Lab come to Shake for a performance of their particular take on jazz fusion, soul, hip-hop and funk. Expect laidback summertime vibes from the trio, with Shanghai's long-running John Jam Session to follow.

Jul 28: Lemonade: A Night of Beyoncé
Shake’s resident singer Courtney Knott and their seven-piece band spend Saturday night devoted to the Queen herself: Beyoncé. Expect original takes on Bey’s greatest hits, plus some classic highlights and lesser-known deep cuts from her albums. No Beyoncé tribute would be complete without a Lemonade cocktail menu, so vodka-based chai, cherry and coconut lemonade are also on offer.

Jul 29: Kashmere
UK indie rock quartet Kashmere comes to Shanghai as part of a China tour. The up-and-coming group blends classic stadium rock with synthpop for a smooth, unique sound. Catch their show at Yuyintang Park.

Jul 29: Eating Music Label Showcase #2
Newly minted Shanghai label Eating Music showcases their roster with a live show at Lychee. There will be sets from beat makers Cocoonics and M.Du from Hong Kong, Kool Klone from Taiwan and Cruel Buddhist from the US, plus a performance by jazz band Little Happiness Group and special guest Chengdu rapper Kafe.Hu. Expect a unique and eclectic daytime jam session.

Jul 31: HONNE
Split Works rounds out a huge summer of shows with Honne's debut China tour. The UK duo deal in a sensual, future-forward sound that spans R&B and electronic music. Their anticipated second album, Love Me / Love Me Not, drops next month. Check out our interview with the band here.
