China's highest paid executive made $25 billion last year

The chairman of property firm Vanke Group has been named the highest paid executive in China, making 159 billion yuan ($25 billion) in 2013.

Wang Shi topped the list for the second year running. Wang was named one of "Fifteen Business Leaders Who've Changed China" by Fortune Magazine in 2011. He founded China Vanke, now the largest residential developer in the world, in 1984.

According to ECNS, "Vanke's income grew 31.3 percent year-on-year to 135.4 billion yuan in 2013, with annual profits reaching 15.1 billion, an increase of 20.5 percent year-on-year".
