Béjart Ballet Lausanne
From October 13 to 15, 2023, the Béjart Ballet Lausanne will be for the first time in Shenzhen, at the Belt & Road Festival, for three performances. The company will be dancing Tous les hommes presque toujours s'imaginent by Gil Roman, as well as Maurice Béjart's Liebe und Tod or Bhakti III, and Boléro.

From Groove to Hard Bop
With the 60s coming to an end, the revolutionary spirit of the era was so pervasive that it forced artists, especially jazz players, to have more to say in music. Lee Morgan, for instance, left a main legacy in jazz history with the invention of Hard Pop. It was the reaction to cool jazz in the 1950s: Hard Pop musicians thought that jazz had become too classical, so they tried to bring blues, gospel, and other African-centric genres back into their music.
