On July 21, InterContinental Chengdu Global Center launched the "Uniquely Thai" Thai Food Festival, spicing up the culinary scene. The festival, personally curated by the hotel's new Thai chef, PHONGSAK, aims to delight food enthusiasts with authentic Thai delicacies, offering a tantalizing journey through the flavors of Thailand. The festivities will continue until August 31, allowing all Thai cuisine lovers to savor the delectable offerings at the Paradise Island Poolside Restaurant of the hotel.
As the sun set and the atmosphere heated up, the opening ceremony commenced with a delightful spread of exquisite dishes. Distinguished guests from the Consulate General of Thailand in Chengdu and the Thailand Tourism Authority Chengdu Office graced the event, endorsing the Thai culinary specialties amidst the enchanting poolside ambiance.
Lai Xinggang, the hotel's F&B Director, expressed his excitement about the festival, "Apart from the usual Thai Hot Pot and Thai Milk Tea, I highly recommend everyone to try our Thai chef's signature Thai-style crayfish, an exclusive delight you won't find elsewhere."
