Ever wondered what a concert set on the rooftops above the super-huge metropolitan expanse of Shanghai looks like? Well, wonder no more.

The guys at MyDJplay have begun recording their DJ sets on top of residential buildings around Shanghai using wide angle cameras and drones, and let us tell you, it’s a mighty impressive sight.

Romain Berti, CEO and founder of MyDJplay, and Charles Berbineau, who works in marketing and partnership with the company behind this stunning series of videos, told us that this project is part of their larger work with MyDJplay, a service that provides music curation and direction for restaurants, bars, gyms, you name it, around China.

“It’s all about showing the audience a very cool view of Shanghai, that you don’t often see,” Charles told us, before adding “It’s all about music but not about any specific kind of music. We are open to any artists who wish to showcase their talent in some beautiful places.”

While the guys at MyDJplay have initially released these awesome sky-high videos, their plan is to take their cameras elsewhere to capture footage of other spots around Shanghai, and China.

“We plan to film at other locations in Shanghai, mostly rooftops but also parks and monuments. In June we are planning to play on the Great Wall of China at YinYang Music Festival.”

You can catch three abridged versions of their videos below. First up is Voodoo Karma (aka Romain Berti) whose afro-tribal house sounds have graced venues like Bar Rouge and Arkham (VPN off):

Next is Anty Flex, a perfectionist who takes inspiration from early house music and urban influences (VPN off):
