College Students Take Photos at Every Metro Stop in Guangzhou

While most graduating college students celebrate with a Tsingtao binge at the local KTV joint, or possibly a summer trip to sunny Hainan Island, three college students in Guangzhou devised a unique – and time-consuming – way to celebrate their time as post-secondary students, taking photos at every single metro stop in the city.

According to a report by en.people.cn, two graduating students and a freshman rode to every single subway station in the city over a day and a half, taking over 1,000 pictures in front of each station’s identifying signage.

Accompanied by photographers, the students each held a board with the words ‘I Love Guangzhou’ for their subway-sign snapshots.

In the end, 192 images (presumably the best of the bunch) were selected.

The two participating grads are reportedly from outside Guangzhou and stated they wanted to "give themselves a special graduation present.” The freshman apparently viewed the experience as a great chance to check out the city.
