Old Man Strolls Through Dongguan Completely Naked

Is it just us or are elderly Cantonese men the sh*t? They’ve got millions in the bank and still refuse to pay more than RMB30 for a T-shirt.

Perhaps a refusal to buy clothes in general is what led our latest newsworthy character to stroll down the streets of Dongguan yesterday morning wearing nothing but his skin.

While we can’t confirm he hails from Guangdong province, we can vouch for his outrageously uninhibited demeanor.

According to Tencent News, a young man surnamed Wang spotted the elderly man – who we’ll call Mr. Huang for convenience – on April 11 at about 11am outside of the Dongguan Tangxia Bus Station. He was walking with a cane in his right hand and a white plastic bag in his left.

Wang claims female passersby “quickly averted their eyes” after accidentally glancing at Mr. Huang’s, er, figure, and that pedestrians in general seemed a bit put off by the show.

In the account provided to Tencent News, Wang added that besides hobbling around naked, Mr. Huang appeared to be mentally sane. His evidence? Mr. Huang stopped at a red light instead of crossing the street at will like everyone else.
