Taking place at the Universiade Park in Longgang District of Shenzhen, the 2014 Shenzhen Midi Festival presented by Kaisa is a three-day event that counts down to the New Year with awesome bands and great tunes.

Since the first Shenzhen Midi Festival on May 19 in 2013, the huge live event has never failed to celebrate rock and indie music to the max. This year, nearly 100 bands from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and other countries will assemble to rock a thousands-strong crowd for one of the biggest parties of the year.

Last year’s theme was Reduce Horn Honking, but this year will see the mega fest going more peace and love, man, with The Chanting of the Inner Heart.

Multiple-nominated Miserable Faith and Tongue are already confirmed to play at the Shenzhen New Year's Midi Festival, and Second Hand Rose – who won 2012's Grand Jury Special Award – will be debuting in the city. Muma will be displaying their signature "electric sonic lights" experience alongside "new outlets by veterans," such as Wanzhong by former Ordinance frontman and Lone by former Joyside members Bian Yuan, Liu Hao, Fan Bo and Guan Zheng. Other popular artists appearing this year include Yi People Moxi Zishi, Zhao Wei's Finger Walker & Shang Biao, Island Mood, Lost Train, Hedgehog, The Big Wave and Easy Lover, joining forces with those old friends of Midi Festival (Reflectors, Ego Fall and Buyi, Wangwen) for one rocking night

日前，2014迷笛板砖奖提名名单已公布，获得多项提名的痛仰以及舌头乐队已确定参演深圳跨年迷笛音乐节。曾获2012年迷笛奖之“常委会特别奖”的二手玫瑰乐队将首次参演深圳迷笛。木玛乐队将继续带领大家体验“声电光”的绝妙之旅。参演深圳迷笛的“老兵新队”有前军械所主唱应鹏所组的重型乐队萬重，以及前Joyside成员边远、刘耗、范博和关铮组成的浪乐队将完全不同的音乐风格呈现给乐迷。彝族民谣莫西子诗乐队、赵卫指行者乐队与上猇、岛屿心情、丢火车、刺猬、大波浪、理想情人近年来炙手可热的新老乐队，将与反光镜、颠覆M、布衣、惘闻这些历届迷笛不可或缺的中国摇滚乐坛中坚力量一道，与万千笛迷一起在摇滚新年的现场尽兴狂欢。
