Shenzhen Forest Concert
Visit official WeChat account ‘mlszgzh’ to win free tickets to Shenzhen Forest Concert, which will be held from December 24 to 26 at Fairylake Botanical Garden. The organizers will give out 1,000 concert tickets per day via their WeChat public account from December 18 to 23. Shenzhen Forest Concert touts itself as the first forest concert in Guangdong province, and has been successfully held for two years. This year’s concert will invite three top orchestras, namely Vienna Sound Symphony Orchestra, Hannover Symphony Orchestra and Milan Symphony Orchestra, to perform a selection of pieces. McCawley’s is offering a Christmas lunch special with a starter of roasted chestnut soup and green salad with bacon vinagrette. You can choose between turkey sausages with sweet potato mash and wilted leeks, juniper roasted duck breast on roasted vegetables or lamb rack with Bourbon sauce and baby potatoes. For dessert, choose between mince pie or Christmas pudding. Price is RMB98 for kids 12 years old and under.
