This will be a fun-filled evening where Zip Improv will be trying out new material, but not at your standard venue. Meet at Exit C of Shenzhen University Metro Station at 8pm, then you will be escorted across rooftops to a top secret venue. There is no fixed price for tickets, and your contributions will be collected at the end of the show. Zip hopes to see as many of your smiling faces as possible – up to 25 in fact! Contact Nelli (WeChat ID: minnie_laoshu) to be added to the group called ‘Audience.’ Beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase as well.

Wed, Aug 14 and Sat, Aug 17: Beijing Bikini Watermelon Championship

sz_watermelon.jpg

Bust out your sexiest Beijing bikini this week with Half Ton Brewery, The Brew and Jing-A Brewing! We don’t actually want to see your belly, but you should definitely come celebrate Jing-A’s fantastic brew – Jing A Beijing Bikini Watermelon Wheat Beer – this Wednesday at Half Ton Brewery’s Chegongmiao branch, and Saturday at The Brew. Think you can devour watermelon at an ungodly speed? You’ll be pleased to know that this (otherwise useless) talent can be put to the test during our first watermelon-eating championship. Additionally, watermelon-balloon-blowing contests and a ‘pick out the seed’ challenge will put your competitive edge to the test. And, of course, epic prizes will be awarded to those who reign supreme, including awesome Jing-A Beijing bikini T-shirts, beer belly fanny packs, rounds of beer and more!

Wed Aug 14, 8-10pm; RMB38. Half Ton Brewery. See event listing. Tickets
Sat Aug 17, 5-7pm; RMB38. The Brew. See event listing. Tickets
