At Shenzhen Stories, people gather to share real-life experiences that run the gamut from comical to cathartic. This month's storytelling theme is 'haunted.' Come to hear tales of 'the spooky, the unexplainable, the downright scary or just those things that won't leave us alone no matter how hard we try.'

October 20: The Cube Guys at Pepper Club
Back in 2005, two Italian stallions with unbeatable producing skills combined their talent to create The Cube Guys. Since then, Roberto and Luca have ridden the wave of popularity to the most important parties and premier festivals, gaining props by industry bigwigs like Bob Sinclar on the way.

October 21-22: Reggae at the Beach ft. Biggaton
Roots/dancehall artist Kevin Roye, known by the stage name of Biggaton, will perform in Shenzhen for the first time supported by local DJ Tayta. The Jamaican native has embarked on a China tour, bringing his tunes – addressing themes of political corruption, crime and poverty – to a wider audience. Buses to the venue leave from Shopping Park metro station, Exit E, at 10am Saturday and return at 9pm Sunday.

October 22: Sunday Family BBQ with Free Flow Drinks
