Located on the rooftop of MixC Phase 2, two stories above the Simply Life café and right opposite the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Atmosphere offers scenic views from its terrace as well stylish and art-deco design on the inside. “Our goal is to offer good European / Asian fusion cuisine at reasonable prices. That and our strong focus on high-end cocktails accompanied by daily live music is just something you don't find in this part of town” says partner Marcus Maher.

With a selection of 100-plus single malt whiskeys from all around the world (all available by the glass!), a vast international wine list and many different live jazz artists who are changing on regular basis, Atmosphere is an attractive venue that certainly is at home in its neighbourhood. Director of Mixology Ben James carefully crafted a unique cocktail menu including unusual drinks such as the diet-ruining Chocolate Martini (RMB58), fresh but sweet Lemon and Vanilla Martini (RMB58) or classic Tom Collins. He is also more than happy to mix you a custom made drink if don’t want to explore the concoctions on the menu.

Also open for lunch, dishes such as Pasta in Alfredo Sauce with Shrimps (RMB68) or the Grilled French Spring Chicken with Herb Sauce (RMB98) are both part of the stylish a la carte menu. For cozy afternoons, Atmosphere offers more than 20 lavish dishes such as pastry puffs, fruit tarts, fresh fruit and salmon rolls with crab roe, as part of their high tea sets for a very reasonable RMB 98 for one or RMB168 for two people.
