Nestled among the ever-growing underground food passage of Link City – the pedestrian area reaching all the way from Shopping Park station to the Convention & Exhibition Center– Let’s Viet is waiting to be found on the corner of Kerry Plaza exit H. Although Vietnamese restaurants have become a common sight among Shenzhen restaurants, Let’s Viet has put a lot of effort into making itself special compared to the competition.

With 100 percent of their goods imported from Vietnam, including authentic noodles and a Vietnamese chef whose resume includes a Hong Kong Michelin-starred restaurant, all the ingredients necessary to get your hopes up are present. Luckily, the result does not disappoint. The Vietnamese beef pho noodles (RMB36) not only come in an oversized bowl large enough for two, it also features imported basil and lemon mixed into the homemade rice band noodles.

If you paid attention during history classes, you will remember that Vietnam was colonized by the French, leaving some influences on the local cuisine. As a result, dishes such as the mango fish fillet rice-paper rolls (RMB32) not only look like they are coming out of a fine-dining restaurant, they also offer a consistent texture to the deep-fried sole fish which comes mantled in a thin coat of sliced vegetables and mango. Completing the real Vietnamese meal experience, bottles of Bia Beer (RMB18) are available on the menu.

Considering the excellent range of cuisine, all at a reasonable price and served in a relaxing environment, this is a solid option to satisfy cravings, pho sure.
