Egg stuck in Shanghai woman's vagina after sex game goes wrong

A young couple had to make an embarrassing visit to the hospital on Sunday, where doctors removed a hard-boiled egg from the woman’s vagina after an egg-sperimental sex game between the lovers took an unegg-spected turn.

The woman's husband said he inserted the hard-boiled, peeled egg into his wife’s vagina because the couple "wanted to try something different" during sex. Not long after, the woman started complaining about pain in her lower abdomen and the couple decided they should seek help and go to the hospital.

The couple, both in their 20s, told medical staff they had tried to remove the egg using chopsticks and a spoon. As you do. When this failed, the woman tried to free the egg by jumping up and down, which surprisingly did not work either.

According to Dr Guo Xinxin of Shanghai No. 411 Hospital's gynaecology department, the couple had taken a big risk. "Once inside the vagina, which contains a complicated mix of bacteria, the egg will rot," he said. "Couples must be careful, but if they do have such a problem, they should go to hospital immediately."
