Nov 13: TOC 1st Anniversary '80s Party

The Odd Couple is turning one year old! The bar's titular (and tubular) duo Shingo Gokan and Steve Scheider will both be in the house to celebrate the occasion. They will be pre-launching their new menu, and of course, the music will be, like, totally '80s. Show up in your best '80s gear for a free shot... like, oh my gawd!

Nov 14: Vodka Feast

The Pierogi Ladies are introducing 10 new Polish vodkas to Shanghai. A vodka feast allows you to taste while learning about vodka history and Polish drinking customs. Don't worry there will be plenty of hearty food to keep you in good shape throughout the evening!

Get your reservations in, because Cages only does barbecue once a week. Leave the office early as Cages rolls out its southern style BBQ menu from 5pm. Get there early because it's first-come, first-serve. Get ready for a delectable selection of smoked meats, sides and sauces.

Nov 15: World Class Competition Finalist at THE CUT Rooftop

IAPM and Shanghai’s popular drink, dine and dance venue, THE CUT Rooftop, is being taken over by Ana Souza (Diageo World Class Competition finalist) this November. Already known for its fabulous mixology and its wild weekend DJ lineups, THE CUT Rooftop, together with GINTONIC will host Ana for the launch of the new cocktail collection.

Nov 17: Coconut Battle

With their Coconut Battle, gre3n is on a mission to share the multiple uses and health benefits of coconuts. They've been raising awareness by bringing the Shanghai F&B community together for weekly battles. It's now time for the semi-finals, and this week sees chefs Tim Huang and George Guo from Boxing Cat taking on hlk Group's Victor Qian. In the mixologist category, Jiabin Wang (hlk Group) goes head-to-head with WILS (Boxing Cat). The judging panel includes Victor Doukov and Carlos Sotomayor (Up Shanghai), Ryan McLeod (Peddlers Gin), Logan R. Brouse (Logan's Punch), Mandela Zhu (Borage), Rachel Guok (Nomfluence), Ian Ford (Nimbility), Yannick Lequellenec (Gastronomy Club) and Matthew Hall (Hakkasan).

Nov 17: Ziran Natural Wine Fair

Natural wine is no longer a secret, and Ziran is a group of aficionados eager to spread the knowledge even further. Join them for their grand tasting to sample all things natural at a variety of pop-up wine bars. Meet over 40 producers pouring over 100 wines for your tasting pleasure. There will also be specialty coffee, craft beer and natural sake on offer. There's even a retail area, so you can snap up your favorites to take home or to share at the after-party.
