March 29: British Themed Quiz

Calling all Brit fact and fish & chip-lovers. A British-themed quiz covering music, film, geography, history and all things Blighty is coming to The Camel. March 29: Mixmag Presents Darren Emerson

Former member of the British electronic music group Underworld and techno-pioneer, Darren Emerson is performing at Celia Club this Friday night. Expect to hear techno, house and electronic classics from his solo Global Underground album series as well as iconic Underworld hits from the Trainspotting soundtrack and their ground-breaking album,dubnobasswithmyheadman.

March 29: Alexis Cabrera

Argentinian DJ and producer Alexis Cabrera will be landing in Shanghai on Friday for a night of techno beats and electric vibes. The Berlin-based DJ is known for his use of modular systems, drum machines, singing and adding vocals on the fly. This one's gonna be good.

March 29-30: Drop It Like It's Neptunes

SHAKE's six-piece band warps into hyperspace with songs by N*E*R*D, Daft Punk, Snoop Dogg, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Jay-Z, Britney Spears, and many more. It's a night of music written by the most iconic, prolific, and influential producer duo of the last three decades: Chad Hugo and Pharrell Williams, AKA The Neptunes. Singer/producer Courtney Knott stars in this show, joined by The Shanghai Sheiks plus late sets by Tony Hall and Matt Cooper. Change clothes and lose yourself to dance. March 30: Addison Groove

Addison Groove is without question at the forefront of the emerging bass-centric wave of genres. He has pushed the boundaries of dance music for over a decade and successfully combined all the right sounds of jungle, footwork, stripped down drum beats and acid baseline. March 30: SAJAMJAM Kids Show

China's most popular musical kids show is headed back to Shanghai. Before the show, everyone in the audience receives a SAMAJAM Music Bag containing three musical instruments: a frame drum, drumsticks and a musical tube. Throughout the show, kids and the entire family learn and play with the instruments, as they are led by SAMAJAM performers on stage. Itís called the SAMAJAM Kids Show, but parents and even grandparents are sure to have fun too. Moreover, the 200 percent participatory experience allows parents to create an exceptional moment of partnership, cooperation and harmony with their kids.

March 30: Tropical China

This innovative live show brings to life the debut album of avant-garde musical project Tropical China. Consisting of a cross-cultural collaboration of Chinese and Brazilian artists, producers and record labels. Expect the abstract vibe of the Shanghai-based band 33EMYBW and the ambient sounds of GOOOOOSE, as well as Rio de Janeiroís Ava Rocha and Negro Leo, and much more.
