July 6: Siesta Loca: 18 Years of Drum & Bass
Drum & bass queen Jane Siesta launched Phreaktion music 18 years ago this month. Celebrate the milestone with her at a drum & bass party featuring all her persona favorite tracks and a supporting line-up of fellow Phreaktion members.

July 7: Stir Launch with Misloop
Local
DJ Misloop launches her new night at Elevator, which focuses on dark,
driving techno. Her first guest is Beijing-based DJ and producer Elvis
T, who has performed with Richie Hawtin and Josh Wink.

July 7: China Social Social Club: Bootleg T-Shirt Launch
China Social Club throws a launch party for their latest piece of march — “Bootleg T-Shirts” that say China Social Social Club. Head to Smash and grab one for RMB80.

July 7: Asian Vibes: Headless Horseman
Local party crew Asian Vibes hosts the latest installment of their China Debut series, bringing over techno producer Headless Horseman for his first-ever China show at Arkham. Known for his ultra-dark techno, Headless Horseman keeps his identity hidden and performs with a mask of black fringe covering his face.

July 8: Drag Extravaganza XXL
Shanghai's
drag scene is growing. Check out the latest and greatest acts from 11
drag performers at the Pearl, including Erica Balenciaga, Dorian T.
Fisk, Miss Jade, Alexia, Mo Meaux and more. Expect comedy, major singing
chops and lots of glitter. Happy hour from 6-8pm before the show.

July 8: VOID
Shanghai’s long-running underground techno crew VOID hold their first event at newly opened nightclub ALL. Expect deep and danceable Detroit techno from residents Shanghai Ultra, Provoda, NMLSS and MHP.

July 8: Aazar
Parisian
trap DJ Aazar is SHFT crewís latest international act. An up-and-coming
producer who has worked with major figures like UZI, Skrillex and DJ
Snake and performed at Coachella and Electric Daisy Carnival, Aazar
brings his club-friendly, melodic trap music to Shanghai for a show at
Arkham.

July 8: Kaoru Inoue
Multicultural
music collective No (B)order brings over DJ Kaoru Inoue from Japan.
Active since the 90s, he plays a diverse mix of jazz, break beats,
African, Brazilian and Asian classics. He also plays guitar as one half
of band Aurora Acoustic. Support from A-Collective, a group that formed
at the fashion boutique Attic that used to sit above Elevator.

July 8: 90s to Naughties
Smash brings back their popular 90s to Naughties party with another night of 90s and early 2000s classics. Head there to party like it's 2002 with tracks by everyone from J Dilla to Cher.
