Are you ready to start getting green this weekend?
On Saturday, March 11, the annual St. Patrick's Day Féile is on!
Head over to the Kerry Center (Jing'an) where festivities include the annual St. Patrick's Day parade to include a piper! (starts at 12.30pm), traditional music and dance, Chinese cultural perforamnces from the Jing'an Culture Group, Irish dance by local troupes and schools and plenty of Irish goodies to feast on while you watch. The Gaelic association will also be on site to tell you more about their sport and upcoming Gaelic games.
There will also be a special kids corner with face painting for the little ones, green candy floss, clowns and balloons and story telling. There will also be a performance by the Le Chéile children.
And, you also have the opportunity to win cash money too, with our green-themed photo competition. Hurry though, because last chance to submit is tomorrow! Winners will be announced at the event.
Event runs from 12-4pm and entry is free. Don't forget to come wearing green to truly get in the spirit!
