Each immersive Julius Meinl coffee journey begins with a limited-edition selection of summer signatures brewed from the finest single-origin beans.
These delicious summer sips are paired with four exquisite desserts prepared by Chef Antonio, with each bite a sonnet to Vienna’s timeless elegance and passion for pastry decadence.
The Viennese-themed Coffeehouse at The Lobby, with its Julius Meinl-inspired palette of red and white, European lampposts and classic café tables and chairs, evokes the cultured charm of Vienna’s streets.
It creates an imaginative, inspiring and poetic space for guests to relax and unwind in style.
The Lobby’s baristas have crafted four desirable speciality coffees. Each one is hand-blended with Julius Meinl’s premium Espresso Spezial Arabica beans, which are medium-dark roasted for velvety smoothness, and the signature Espresso Blend, a harmonious balance of Arabica and Robusta with alluring aromatic depth.
The Einspänner with a Twist is where a double espresso meets ethereal whipped cream and toasted hazelnuts. Viennese Cold Brew is crafted by an eight-hour ice-drip extraction revealing notes of wild berries and oak. Refreshing Viennese Yuzu Yuenyeung Coffee blends iced americano with pomelo tea and honey; and a Lychee Iced Americano pairs rich espresso with summer lychee and bayberry compote. Each creation is a tribute to Vienna’s timeless coffee artistry, where the whisper of a summer breeze meets the daily quest for perfection.
Guided by the philosophy that ‘every extraordinary creation begins with exceptional ingredients’, Chef Antonio Bachour has teamed with the hotel’s pastry team to present four magnificent desserts, each a symphony of culinary artistry and sensual pleasure.
Experience a sensual awakening with the Chocolate Sabotage, a sublime convergence of 70% dark chocolate mousse, silken chocolate crémeux, whipped gianduja cream, hazelnut praline nougatine, crisp chocolate shards and a quenelle of white chocolate ice cream. Each refined layer of this multi-textured masterpiece melts decadently on the taste buds.
Yuzu & Calamansi Lime Tart is a vibrant citrus revelation, pairing yuzu ganache with tangy calamansi on an ethereal matcha dacquoise. A single bite transports you to sun-drenched orchards.
For a celestial chocolate uplift, the 100% Chocolate Sphere is crafted from premium single-origin cocoa to deliver a velvety immersion of pure heaven.
A Shortcake Sablé, Lemon & Verbena Crémeux & Strawberry Compote is a gustatory delight of buttery sablé base crowned with clouds of lemon-verbena cream. Delicate petals envelope a divine strawberry confit harmonising a crisp texture with floral elegance and fruity exuberance.
