Hotel Éclat Beijing is delighted to announce an extraordinary culinary collaboration with two-Michelin-starred Swiss Chef Christian Kuchler, who will take over George’s Restaurant for a limited engagement from September 11 to September 13.

Chef Christian Kuchler
Chef Kuchler, renowned for his modern interpretation of Swiss and European classics, will present exclusive lunch and dinner menus that showcase his signature generous, sensual, and technically refined cuisine.
Christian Kuchler is the acclaimed chef behind Taverne zum Schäfli in Wigoltingen, Switzerland—a restaurant that has held two Michelin stars and 18 Gault Millau points under his leadership. Trained under culinary legend Alain Ducasse in Paris, Kuchler represents a new generation of chefs who honor tradition while embracing innovation.
His cuisine is characterized by precision, depth of flavor, and a passion for both haute cuisine and rustic, heartwarming dishes. In addition to his work in Switzerland, Kuchler also oversees the culinary direction of the Boutique Hotel Alhambra on the Croatian island of Losinj.
The Menu: A Journey Through Modern Swiss Artistry
Guests at George’s Restaurant will be treated to a curated selection of dishes that reflect Chef Kuchler’s philosophy: “Food should trigger a feeling of happiness.” Each course is designed to balance technique, terroir, and taste.
There will be a five-course dinner menu (RMB1,288) and a three-course lunch menu (RMB888). There are also wine pairing options available featuring premium Swiss wines curated by Kejia Wine.
