It seems that Henan Human Sperm Bank recently hosted one of these contests, and it's been raising quite a few eyebrows, not to mention giggles.
According to an official announcement on the Henan Human Sperm Bank's WeChat official account, the 50-day contest aimed to crown the champion in various aspects of sperm quality, including concentration, vitality, semen volume, and sperm deformity rate.
What's the grand prize? Not merely the glory of having wonderful wrigglers, but the chance to receive a generous subsidy of up to RMB6,100.
But wait, there's a catch! This competition has some pretty strict eligibility criteria:
Age: Participants must be older than 20 years old.
Height: You need to stand tall at 1.65 meters or above.
Health: No hereditary or infectious diseases, no color blindness, and nearsightedness below 600 degrees.
Abstinence: A precise abstinence period of 3 to 7 days before the competition (no release for 3 to 7 days before the big showdown).
You must have lived in Zhengzhou for an extended period; You will donate at least 8 times, with each session lasting 30 to 60 minutes. The whole process takes roughly 2 to 3 months.
Perhaps bowing to public opinion, the Henan Human Sperm Bank has now removed the relevant announcement from its official WeChat account.
However, this isn't the first time that a human sperm bank has organized such an event. Back in 2021, the Shanghai Human Sperm Bank hosted a similar competition.
